Happy Easter from Little Baby Nicholas

I think one of my favorite things in the world is getting a text from a new mom announcing that her little one has made its way into the world.  I was overjoyed to have photographed Kristin and her family of 3 a few weeks back (see here), and knowing that Elizabeth was hoping for a baby brother I was ecstatic to receive the text that little Nicholas had finally come… all 7lbs 11oz of him!  I’ve never had a more perfect client, or a newborn smile long enough for me to catch it on camera… let alone be good enough for us to make him our Easter bunny for the day!  I can’t wait to see this family learn and grow together, and for Elizabeth to start touting around her baby brother like the perfect accessory he is.

Soiree: A Swanky Little Bridal Event (and giveaway!)

So, how many of us have attended a bridal show and walked out completely drained and overwhelmed?  C’mon, raise your hand… you know you want to!  Well if you’ve ever felt lost in the crowd, and not that one in a million bride – you’ve never attended Soiree.  Soiree is a different kind of bridal event.  Rather than 100’s of vendors clamoring for your business and attention, you’re invited to walk through inspiration spaces and approach the designers and bakers at will.  In the meantime you’ll be showered with gifts, entered for giveaways and entertained by a fabulous runway show.  Did I mention the food, wine and bubbly?  This is an event you certainly don’t want to miss!  Tickets are $20 through mystudiowhite.com… OR you can enter to WIN tickets for you and a friend!  All you have to do is make sure you’re following me & Studio White on Twitter OR like our Facebook pages!

Tweet or Post this phrase (make sure we’re tagged on facebook!):

“I want to go to Soiree with @rachelfesko & @studiowhiteclt! See details here: http://bit.ly/10R1gGw. Please RT!”

Duplicate tweets/comments will not give you more chances to win.  Good luck!

Preserving the Memories

I can’t tell you how much I love it when my couple’s decide to order albums.  There’s just something so amazing about seeing one’s photos live in print, rather than on a screen, that makes my heart sing.  I’m currently in process of updating my sample albums, but these are some of the ones I’ve used this year.  I don’t think there is a better way to preserve your memories for the generations following you than investing (yes, investing) in a quality heirloom album… one that your grandkids may flip through in the years to come and wonder… why in the world did you wear that dress (much like I did with my own mum)??

Both are Finao albums.
Mark & Jackie – 8×10 album w/ an Ice cover & Bohemian leather side/back.
The larger album is a 10×14 two tone leather with All that Jazz & Bomber Jacket w/ a cut out image.
