“You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.”
I’ve known Lindsey for about darn near forever. She and her twin brothers took piano lessons from my mom growing up, and every time I think of Lindsey my first flashback is always of her sitting in my mom’s music room, long hair flowing and playing the scales.
Linds and I rekindled our friendship when she started becoming interested in photography. While it’s not something I advertise yet, Lindsey took private photography lessons from me, and we’ve been in touch ever since.
I was so thrilled when her long time (and one and only) boyfriend, Jacob, proposed. and was even more thrilled when she asked if I could photograph their wedding. It was a gorgeous Spring day, and one filled with those they hold close. You could tell that Linds had touched every detail… and the “unplugged” ceremony was definitely my favorite part. Love you guys!
I also wanted to thank my spur of the moment 3rd shooter, Jeni. She asked to come along last minute due to her friendship with Lindsey… and the fact that she wanted to photograph the entire day in black and white. Many of the b&w images included in this blog post are hers… like this one…
SELFIE! (you try doing that with a 6lb rig and tell me how great YOU do! haha!)
Shout out to my amazing second shooter, Emily Slaughter… she rocked it!
