kate’s get [glamorous] bridal’s!

She walks in beauty, like the night
   Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that’s best of dark and bright
   Meet in her aspect and her eyes;
– Lord Byron –

Oh, how I love Kate.  She has been a constant source of light in my world, and a beam of encouragement when I needed it most.  Her texts would begin with, “Hello, wonderful photographer!” and even before I looked at the number I knew it was Kate.

Kate is lively, funny, goofy and not afraid to laugh at herself.  She is one bride’s that out of all the images we took for her bridals, I had to post “outtakes” along with the others.

Her wedding day yesterday was nothing short of who her and James are, and with a little luck I’ll be able to post more of that soon.  Meanwhile, here are her gorgeous bridals from Winghaven Gardens.

The outtakes…

Faith’s Get [Glamourous] Session!

Faith is an amazing individual.  I worked with Faith for about a year before taking the business full time, and let me tell you… She hardly ever had a bad word to say about anyone, always had the right thing to say in the moment, and never had a bad day (even if she did have a bad day, she only let it on for about 5 minutes!).  It was such an honor to shoot this bridal session, and capture Faith’s free spirit personality.  Enjoy!

This is the image Faith chose for her bridal canvas… it turned out amazing!

Erin’s Get [Glamorous] Session!

When I met Erin I had a hard time believing she was just a few years younger than me.  My first instinct was, “Aren’t you a little young to be getting married?”  And I’m so glad I bit my tongue… well… until now (sorry, Erin!).  Erin wanted something more rustic for her bridals, and train tracks were a must have in her book.  So we traveled to Belmont and got some amazing images.  Her wedding was last weekend, and I will hopefully have some images on the blog soon.  Enjoy!

Can you believe these shoes???  LOVE!
My favorite of the day.  Just as we were about to cross the street we heard a train coming.  I think I scared Erin a bit with how close I asked her to stand to the train… but it was SO worth it.
